The brilliantly simplistic cuisine in this Italian trattoria has customers packed in every night, even though the restaurant recently doubled in size.

Chef/Co-owner Craig Stoll serves Mediterranean dishes that are flavorful in a straight-ahead Italian-style. The short ribs and the squid salad seem to be among the most desired dishes at this local/international favorite in The Mission District.

Wine Spectator calls the wine list "short, but savvy."
