The West's Oldest Independent Bookseller

Books Inc. is an independent bookstore carrying a diverse and alternative selection of new titles. Classics, paperbacks, magazines and a special children's department are a focus here.

The Marina District bookstore is a fun place to stroll into any night after dinner. On Friday and Saturdays, they are open until the clock strikes twelve!

Books Inc. has two other locations in San Francisco selected by Rugged Elegance: the Castro District store store is located on Market Street, and the Laurel Village store is located on California Street between Laurel and Spruce.
