Ascending the stairs to goldberry's second story location is like stepping up toward heaven. As you hit the top of the stairs, you encounter goldberry's trademark white-on-white interior and you feel as if you've entered another world.

Proprietor, Margie Rogerson was previously a fashion designer who worked in velvets among other exquisite fabrics. She says "I was always drawn to vibrant colors."

Her passion creating custom-made jewelry, using only the world's finest stones, took her entirely out of fashion and into the colorful gem stones business in 1995. While she has kept the name, Goldberry, she primarily works in platinum. All of her designs are showcased in platinum settings.

The centerpiece of her collection is a $240,000 Colombian emerald tennis bracelet. The majority of her treasures are made of sapphires, in pastel shades of lavender, pink, champagne, crystal-clear white to blue hues. Pastel sapphire pendants start from $1,100. Ceylon blue sapphire earrings start at $850 and Burmese ruby earrings start at $2,250. goldberry also has several rings, with a six Burmese ruby style selling from $12,500 to $94,500 and a six Ceylon blue sapphire version priced from $9,500. Single stone rings in platinum start at $1,500.

If you are looking for sapphires, rubies, emeralds or diamonds, this is the place to indulge. Margie is happy to work with you to locate the ideal stone that will lead your loved one to believe they truly have stepped into heaven.
