While there are few establishments in the Haight Ashbury district that are considered "rugged elegant," Ambiance's store on the north side of Haight between Masonic and Ashbury is one of them. As you might expect, this Ambiance is the most cutting-edge of the five stores.

Noe Valley is a neighborhood that offers much charm along with great restaurant and shopping choices. Ambiance also offers two stores in Noe Valley. The store focuses on vintage-inspired dresses and contemporary separates, while the "old" location on 3985 24 Street features shoes and close-out items.
