Maureen Blanc is an entrepreneur, an art collector, and a passionate spokesperson for the economic, political, social and technological causes in which she believes.

Most rewarding of all, Maureen is a mother.

Ms. Blanc is the co-founder of Blanc & Otus - one of the leading technology public relations firms in the world. For nearly twenty years, Maureen helped define technology PR for the burgeoning high-tech industry. In June 2003, she retired after selling her interest in Blanc & Otus to Hill & Knowlton in 1999. Until this time, she invested two years running H&K's Worldwide Technology Group.

Her retirement did not last long. Recently, the opportunity to change the economic, political and social climate vis a vis women brought Maureen back out into the work environment, this time for a non-profit organization.

In the fall of 2004, Ms. Blanc joined the executive staff of The International Museum of Women, a team committed to creating the first museum and education facility dedicated to honoring the lives of women around the world.

She and scores of other volunteers are on a path to inspire women to raise their voices.

Maureen is a graduate of UC Berkeley. She also did post graduate work at Stanford University.

She is a founding Board member of the San Francisco Chapter of Friends of the Children. Until she stepped down from this post two years ago, she served as Vice Chair of the chapter.

Among the many other causes she supports, one that is at the top of her list is Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), "The Business Voice for The Environment."

E2 is a national community of business people who believe in protecting the environment while building economic prosperity.

Maureen Blanc lives in San Francisco with her husband, George Brandt, and a very active eleven-year-old daughter.
