Robert King is a business and philanthropic entrepreneur.

He is the founder and Chairman of R. Eliot King & Associates, Inc., an investment management company.

Bob is an active venture investor in U.S. and international companies through his firm, Peninsula Capital.

In addition to his active role in Thrive Foundation for Youth, Bob is a past active Elder of the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. He also serves on the Board of Village Enterprise Fund, an organization established to help create microenterprises in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Bob did his undergraduate work at Dartmouth College where he earned a BA in Economics and his graduate work at Stanford University where he earned his MBA.

Bob and his wife, Dottie, spend time in Menlo Park, California and Kennebunkport, Maine. Bob's personal interests include his six kids and his seven grandchildren. He is also an avid golfer.
